Aaron's shoebox surprise

Aaron's shoebox surprise

Former resident Aaron is making shoe boxes to gift to residents this Christmas

When former resident Aaron contacted us to ask whether he could do some fundraising and put together some gift boxes for our young residents aged 16-25yrs old, of course we agreed.

Aaron spent two Christmases himself in Supported Housing he now wants to give back by raising some donations for the young people living at schemes in Chorley.

'I spent 2 of my Christmases at the scheme and it was incredibly difficult so now I am able to, I really want to help the young people there living there now'

Aaron has raised a little bit of cash himself and already put together 8 shoe boxes himself. After a couple of weeks of being unwell he really needs a little bit of help to put together another 10 shoeboxes for both boys and girls. If you have children yourselves this is a really fun way of getting them involved and get them making up some gift boxes with little bits of smellies, socks, sweets, anything really just to put a smile on someone's face this Christmas.

Alternatively a cash donation can be made and Aaron will make up the shoe boxes ahead of the big day next week. For more information or to donate please contact jaynea@keycharity.org.uk or  you can drop off your shoe boxes/donations directly to Key Unlocking Futures, 2 Balfour Court, Leyland, PR25 2TF or The Bridge, Clarence Street, Chorley PR7 2BJ
