We couldn’t run the usual Christmas activities, parties and events so wanted to try and lift everyone’s spirits. This was logistically and physically a huge task but was achieved thanks to the kindness and generosity of so many organisations and individuals and the hard work and dedication of volunteers.

We were able to provide over 400 children and young people from Broadfield and Wade Hall with a Christmas Eve box containing new pyjamas, socks, activity packs, sweets & chocolates and small age-appropriate gifts. In addition, we also gave each child and young person a wrapped Christmas present which was selected with the individual child and young person in mind. These Christmas Eve bags and presents were delivered to their homes on the 23^rd December by volunteers dressed as elves. The response was fantastic and the feedback was brilliant – we certainly achieved what we set out to do.
