Key welcomed former clients, volunteers, local dignitaries, and supporters at an event held at the Civic Centre in Leyland, in recognition of its 30th anniversary celebrations.
Key's team welcomed 80 people to mark its third decade of providing help, support and advice to people facing homelessness. Key also now works to help people facing domestic abuse, supports people with their emotional and mental health, and helps to strengthen communities.
The event hosted by Key's Chair, Penny Fell reflected on the charity's history, as well as showcasing the short promotional film which was made for the charity by Northern Heart Films and Media Trust, commissioned by Santander Foundation.
The Mayor & Mayoress of South Ribble were in attendance and as well as hearing people's personal stories, colleagues past and present said a few words about the charity's crucial work over the last 30 years, which has helped over 33,000 people to date. The event finale was supported by the Key Choir which was made up of both staff and volunteers. Everyone said how uplifting the choir was.
