Supporting white ribbon across South Ribble and Chorley
Colleagues from South Ribble and Chorley refuges, along with the Mayor of South Ribble attended South Ribble Council offices on Monday 25th November to show their support for the White Ribbon campaign.
Each year both councils in Chorley & South Ribble, raise a white flag to show solidarity for the campaign, to end violence against women and girls.
Women and men from across both areas pledged never to commit, condone or remain silent about men's violence against women. This year's message is 'It Starts With Men' because men can play a vital role in getting this message out.
Over the past 20 years Key's domestic abuse services have delivered prevention work in schools, provided safe accommodation for women and children, and domestic abuse outreach support for people of any gender.
