Therapeutic support for schools

Therapeutic support for schools

One in ten children aged between five and 16 has a mental health problem, which is a growing crisis.

Here at Key, we're determined that schools should have access to cost-effective, targeted, local, and flexible emotional and therapeutic services to provide effective support for the school community.

We are a local service with over 20 years of experience. We work:

  • Collaboratively with schools providing on-site support
  • Using qualified and experienced counsellors who receive regular clinical supervision
  • By providing support and counselling to children/young people, parents, carers, and teachers
  • By providing regular reporting on outcomes
  • By providing support out of school hours
  • Using a collaborative safeguarding approach
  • By having access to advice from a multi-disciplinary team.

Access to emotional and therapeutic support improves:

  • Concentration and the ability to learn
  • Behaviour and attitude
  • School attendance and participation
  • Awareness of when to seek help or support
  • Resilience, self-esteem, confidence, and independence.

To help you access the support you require, speak to us about your needs and budget, and we can tailor our service to suit you.
