PUDSEY VISITS KEY UNLOCKING FUTURES IN LEYLAND

Children in Need mascot Pudsey paid a visit to Leyland to meet with us here at Key Unlocking Futures

Children in Need funding awarded to Key Charity has enabled us to deliver much needed support to children, young people and families across Chorley, South Ribble and Preston. The funding due to end next year has enabled Kate McNaught (shown left of picture) and Rosie Costello (right of picture) both Family Therapists working on the project, to provide much needed therapy, which has helped families to improve relationships with each other and crucially stay together.

During Pudsey's exciting visit to Key Unlocking Futures this week ahead of Children in Need's annual fundraising event they also spoke with Graham Liver on BBC Radio Lancashire about their important work and what a difference donations to Children in Need really do make to disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.

Ursula Patten, Operations Director for Key also pictured (left of Pudsey) said, 'this funding has helped families to stay together and deliver lasting change'.

Rosie Costello, Family Therapist said, 'this funding has given children a voice and allowed them to be seen, opening up possibilities for whole families'.

When Children in Need funding ends next year Key wants to continue delivering this much needed service to families across Lancashire and would appeal to all businesses to please consider donating this Christmas to our Magic Key fundraising appeal.
