Do you want to support children and young people to have fun and learn new skills in their local community?

As a volunteer youth worker, you will get involved in all aspects of running the youth club from The Base Community Centre in Leyland. You will learn to plan and lead sessions that offer a fun way to build young people’s confidence and develop positive skills and attitudes.

We are looking for people who like children and young people who are cheerful, fun and outgoing. You would need to be reliable and trustworthy with good communication skills and an understanding of young people and their issues.

You’ll need to offer around two hours per week, for a minimum of a year.  Full training is given and ongoing support.
